Project 23 w/ Janice Chu

from by Fat Bard

We had another Art to Music / Music to Art round with Janice Chu ( @churon ), this time sending her a musical piece to interpret, and we love what she came up with! The music to us had a sense of peace and calm that kicks into action, like a bright start to a morning. The best part of the series is the interpretation; it’s always exciting to see a different perspective, as creatives sometimes get tunnel vision on a work. The water and serene image of the dock/fishing jives real well with the tranquil beginning of the song, and the vibrant colors of the water along with the falling stars fit well with the brightness and energy that comes later. Now the song reminds us of Wave Racer for the N64, funny how our own interpretation has flipped :).
